What this role is responsible for:

  • Lead and grow the analytics team, as mentor and manager, integrating with the full Connections Strategy team, to bring best in class measurement solutions to serve clients’ needs
  • Lead the creation of integrated measurement frameworks in collaboration with Connections Strategy leads
  • Drive ongoing analysis, insights, and recommended actions for improving brand programs, campaigns and strategic decision-making
  • Lead the development and presentation of insightful, actionable reports and deliverables such as campaign recaps, brand health tracking, quarterly business reviews, social listening, organic social, and others
  • Tell compelling stories to clients about trending, media and advertising performance and business opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing collaboration with internal functions such as Media, Creative, Brand Strategy, Social Strategy and Brand to ensure unified solutions
  • Infuse analytics thought leadership into the culture of the agency
  • Deliver meaningful contributions across all agency client businesses 
  • Construct test and learn plans for clients that quantify impact of investment, marketing channels and tying performance to business impact
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate tools and technology, bringing new recommendations and platforms to the agency to keep analytics capabilities on the front edge
  • Keep abreast of industry trends (trade press, webinars, current events, etc.) that may impact a client’s business

What we need from you:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience and within an integrated agency
  • Prior experience building teams, managing, training, and mentoring a team
  • A four-year college degree required
  • Understanding of a broad range of paid media channels such as CTV, Programmatic, Digital Video, Social, OOH, Search, Display, Linear TV
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to think proactively and reactively to bring strategic solutions to clients
  • Deep expertise with the following types of tools required:
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Data Studio
    • Google Tag Manager
    • Brand Health (YouGov Brand Index)
    • Social Listening tools (Talkwalker, BrandWatch, NetBase)
    • Planning & Research tools (MRI Simmons, Kantar, Pathmatics, YouGov Profiles)
    • 3rd party measurement solutions (Upwave, Lucid, NCS, Nielsen, IRI)
  • Solid understanding of media planning and audience analytics
  • Working knowledge of adtech and martech data stacks and data platforms, as well as pixel and tagging strategy and deployment
  • Comfortable working with a variety of teams across all disciplines (ex: Creative, Social, Strategy, Media)
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to prioritize tasks for both yourself and your team
  • Comfortable with fast-paced work in a deadline driven production environment

Our salary range for this opportunity is $175,000 to $190,000 annually. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package (i.e. benefits, retirement plan employer match, etc.).
