Leadership

Christian Jacobsen

Founder and CEO

My perspective on Participation:

I've always preferred being on the field rather than in the bleachers. As a classically trained brand strategist, I've consistently adhered to the old industry adage, "Don't just say it, be it." This principle lies at the heart of our client strategies and our internal culture, which celebrates participation. I champion leaning into change and ambiguity, and I am committed to fostering a workspace characterized by openness, teamwork, and a 'player' mentality. By motivating everyone to contribute and participate, we aim to cultivate a genuine community that counters loneliness and stimulates innovation. This ethos not only enriches our company culture but also enhances the solutions we offer our clients, capturing the essence of our success. We are in the business of participation, and we apply this principle to build businesses.

Amy Mathieu

Creative Director

My perspective on Participation:

Participation is like line dancing — easy when there's a good crowd, scary when you're solo. My role as CD (and a Texan) is to kick off the heel, toe, docey doe's. The excitement and curiosity I bring to each project invites my teams and clients to join me on the dance floor, generating more shared ideas, diverse perspectives, and greater collaboration to get us to our greatest work.

Gil Lang

Director of Growth

My perspective on Participation:

By promoting a culture of open communication & understanding, I actively strive for an environment where people around me feel heard and respected, promoting meaningful participation & active collaboration with both internal teams (and teammates regardless of hierarchy), and external clients.

Victor Parker

Director of Communications & Marketing

My perspective on Participation:

‘I make news' encapsulates what I do and how I approach my entire career, including my Director of Communications and Marketing role at The Many. My role revolves around creating impactful stories from our collaborative successes with our brand partners, engaging our community for insights, and earning recognition through awards. It affirms our strategic storytelling and participation-driven ethos, ensuring every narrative lands on major platforms and genuinely connects and resonates.

Alli Adamonis

Group Brand Director

My perspective on Participation:

I pride myself on having a spirit of curiosity and believe that building community- across teams, clients, and ultimately with 'consumers' requires curiosity and a willingness to get messy. In my role as Group Brand Director, fostering a participatory culture starts with building teams and client relationships on a level of mutual trust with honest and direct communication.

Andy Craig

Group Strategy Director

My perspective on Participation:

By definition, connections strategy is about participation: taking theoretical brand architectures and creative platforms, and activating them through channel, content, creator, and media strategies to bring our message to audiences, and give them a stake in the outcome. It’s active participation in technology and culture to discover what comes next.

Crystal Chou

Group Media Director

My perspective on Participation:

My leadership style has always been noted as different. I take a listen and observe approach to understand the current state, which informs my POV and an open dialogue on how best to move forward. That, to me, is participation to its core, and the reciprocal nature of participation.

Ayanna Hart

Director of Production Operations

My perspective on Participation:

As the Director of Production Operations, I foster participation by insuring that everyone on my team gets moments to engage with leadership, with clients and with talent in the creation of the physical manifestation of our work. Production is the last stop on the creative conveyor line; we take all of the inputs and make a finished product that reflects the thoughts and voices of many, and our work speaks to millions more, if we are lucky. We want our work to create a spark in every viewer, and the more diverse our voices, the greater chance we have of doing so. Participation from everyone on my team helps to create a product that can have global impact across the board of culture, age and interests.

Adam McGinnes

Senior Producer

My perspective on Participation:

As Sr. Producer, I embrace participation through pro-active and enthusiastic collaboration on conceptual story driven narrative while focusing on initiatives that drive audience engagement. With participatory experience crafting diverse global music, dance, and culture content for Red Bull Media House I was able to leverage thoughtful storytelling that welcomed audience conversation and progressed authentic brand equity. As a pioneer of UGC participatory content developing MTV's Ridiculousness I was able to harness the power of social media to produce beloved programming across multiple platforms.
